So then we thought: sod it. Most brands come to us first, so why not give them an idea of what to expect? It’s not really our style to go for the hard sell. We’re not trying to zone in on you like a homing missile. We don’t have strict sales targets, and besides, trade shows are exhausting.

Once you’ve been introduced to Kubix and have a better idea of what we do, we’ll suggest a Zoom call. Step one? Completed it mate.
You like what you’ve seen so far, and you think Kubix might be a good match for you. Now comes the proper call. The first date, as it were. Over the course of a 20-30 minute Zoom, we’ll give you a whirlwind tour of Kubix, what we do, and how we could potentially use our systems and processes to benefit your brand.
Because let’s face it, until we’ve dug a little deeper, we don’t quite know what you need. We’re not Mystic Meg. Even you might not know what you need at this stage. Everyone who joins us on a Zoom call has different business requirements, so it’s our job to figure out the best plan of action for you.
If you’re already on Shopify, then we might talk you through how we’d recommend a new theme, or redesign the theme you’re currently on. If you’re on another e-commerce platform *cough, boo, cough*, then we’ll give you a bit more of a technical scope about migrating your old site and how it’s actually not as terrifying as it sounds. And if you’ve never even heard of Shopify and just liked our Kubix branding? Then once we’ve finished blushing, we’ll talk you through Shopify and exactly what it does.
Here’s the catch.
At this point, you’re scoping us, but we’re scoping you. Not every project will be quite right for our team, so we have to figure out if your goals and values align with our own.
As one particular gentleman quickly realised once when he stumbled into our office off the street and said: “I’d like a website.”
We replied with: “What do you sell?”
He said: “I don’t know. I haven’t started yet.”
“Well, what would you like to start selling?”
“Eh, I don’t care.”
At this point, it was a hard pass from us. We’re looking for business owners with passion and a plan. We’re not going to take clients on for the sake of it, and honestly? When it comes to marketing in particular, we’re going to fight the fights we know we can win. If you take pride in your business, we can take care of you.
So if we think you’ve got something, we’ll let you know about it. And whether it’s one Zoom call, two, or even three, we’ll take the time to get to know your brand before putting pen to paper and finalising the details of your package. Then it’s proposal time.

We’ll send you a very thorough document via email with all you need to know about your potential website or marketing project, and that all-important dotted line. Do your thing. Read it. Or don’t, if you like to live life on the edge. (We’d still recommend reading it). Absorb it.
You might suddenly have questions that you hadn’t thought of before. If you’re having a new website, you might be wondering what our team needs from you in terms of branding and imagery. If you’re coming on board for marketing, you might be wondering about giving us access to your accounts and what kind of ad budget you need. At this point if you still have questions, you just need to reply and voice anything that hasn’t been covered off. We’ll make sure to update your proposal accordingly, or answer the question on a separate email.
We always say, if it feels right, then go for it. We would never send a proposal if we didn’t think we could make a big difference to the brand we’re sending it to. When you’re ready, all you have to do is complete a digital sign-off. This gives us the go-ahead and immediately brings your project on board. Easy.
